I cannot believe you had me drive myself home in traffic after only driving for 90 minutes!

When we started I could not even figure out how to turn the steering wheel, yet here we are driving myself home. Amazing first lesson.

My anxiety has always been a level 5 or 6 but today the entire lesson was about a 2. Unbelievable. I am even starting to like driving.

I look forward to my next lesson which is so different than being scared to drive!

I am getting better every time and I know what you mean by being 100% on top of the driving task. I am close but I am not yet there but I will know when I am ready. It is exciting!

Our first driving lesson I started at a 7, dropped to a steady 5 and 6. But this second lesson I was 2 and 3! I am so surprised.

Great drive today. the entire time we stayed at a 2 and 3 and I think I even hit a 1 for a while So enjoyable!

Doing 90 km/h on the highway as difficult but yet I was able to do it. I feel very proud. And it was surprising how you got me there without me knowing where we were going. Thank you.

I really thought I was ready for traffic today, but I totally blew it and now I really understand how important the two first-level skillsets are. Next session, lets go back to them please.

multiple client texts to me this past week

1 to 10 RANKINGS EXPLAINED

1 & 2 are calm relaxed states yet attentive to the task. The optimal time to learn.

5 is a fair level of anxiety but is still able to manage to do the task.

6 & 7 are more straining and if the strain persists over time it causes excessive fatigue or even exhaustion.

8 & 9& 10 – is total fear blind blurring confusion igniting the fight or flight response. I just wanna end it and get through the task. Learning does not occur at these high anxiety levels.

Actually you do learn at these high anxiety levels. You learn to HATE driving!
