learning to drive

I have extensive experience working closely with full training programs for young drivers.

With over a decade of experience in managing and coordinating full training programs for schools targeting young drivers in Ontario, I’ve built comprehensive courses for multiple organizations. I also have extensive experience in corporate and fleet training.

A significant portion of my clients are teens who have completed or are taking full training courses, including classroom sessions with some of the larger driving schools. I complement what they are learning, helping them to integrate perspectives from family, friends, big driving schools, and my own insights.

I provide recommendations for practice sessions with your co-pilot, ensuring that your driving practice is effective and productive.

Driving is a constantly evolving skill, just like our brains and bodies. Your knowledge and abilities must grow and adapt to keep pace.

My in-car training includes videos and digital resources as needed. This is part of the service because I understand the importance of having the right information and knowing where to find it. And no, there’s no extra charge – it’s all included in the 90-minute session.

  1. This timeline is for a new driver who has 0 to 10 lifetime hours behind the wheel.

$195 + GST = $204.75

2. This timeline is for a new driver who has 10+ lifetime hours behind the wheel, or if they are ambitious to drive immediately.

$195 + GST = $204.75

P.S. If you are a parent reading this, maybe a good question would be, Why Cooper with all your qualifications and experience (also certified as a BC GLP instructor) why are you NOT teaching full new driver GLP programs? This is not the place to discuss this, however I will give you a few hints. One, is this post https://ihaveevolved.com/what-happens-when-high-quality-crashes-into-a-low-quality-school/ Second, I have worked for companies where I was dragged to the very top. Third, I live for learning and getting to the targeted result “not crashing” over top of nearly anything else – foolish me. Fourth, I enjoy more than anything driving a car and helping people enjoy driving a car. That is the best answer I can give here, but I would love to discuss it more :). I do have strong beliefs when it comes to the young and driving cars. I would also like to mention that I worked closely with Sue MacNeil PHD who is considered to be the Mother of Graduated Licensing. Sadly she is no longer with us.
