Why do the majority of clients learning to drive not write anything down, nor take notes while learning to drive?
Recently I talked about the suggested hour tracking ICBC suggests when learning to drive, plus a suggested practise checklist and experience log.
Sadly I do not know the answer to why most do not do more work after the incar lessons.
However I can speculate and suggest what is replacing the note taking and study.
- Life is demanding.
- Work and money is very important these days and consumes most time.
- Paying a good driving instructor is expensive and helps manage the learning, so many do not feel they should invest more time.
- Driving for many is a simple, a get it done event
- Many feel they do not need to learn any more than just steering and learning while actually doing the driving.
We try hard to fill in the fact that most learners do not do more studying. We supply videos and simple digital materials to help support more learning beyond the incar lessons. However we do understand that life can get in the way of learning to drive. Either way, we are here to help.
