Beautiful Vancouver drags me out of bed most mornings at 6 am to cycle Stanley Park. But more than a dozen times, I am surprised with how cool it gets rounding a corner into a shaded tree section or being hit by a seaside gust of wind. So cold!

I am not good with cold, but I get caught outside cold, again and again.

MY NEW SOLUTION

  1. carry a backpack
  2. carry rain pants
  3. carry a windbreaker
  4. carry a toque
  5. carry outside ski gloves

I have always carried a backpack with water and tissues, so adding in the above just-in-case cold gear was simple.

Why didn’t I think of it before….

Walking, cycling and driving are all connected.

DO YOU KNOW WHY?
