“Many clients are very concerned with what the driver in the car behind us is thinking. As we move our 2000 kgs forward, the complexity of the roadway becomes irrelevant. The embarrassment of a horn toot, or just the thought, is far more important than a pedestrian or a cyclist!”
The marked difference between the clients I met today is surprising and intriguing. A few decades ago, I worked extensively with new drivers before moving into several other careers. This repeated concern of being tooted at or the fear of being embarrassed is far more critical to many today. A concept I never heard a client voice several decades again.
