Manage your expectations.
Accept that traffic is part of the driving experience, and plan accordingly. Leave a bit earlier if you know you’ll hit rush hour, and use this extra time to savour a cup of coffee or catch up on a good book. Remember, a little patience goes a long way.

Move With The Flow
Unnecessary Stopping – Moving when on the road is critical to keeping yourself and others in a safe space. Stopping needs to be off to the most right portion of the roadway, not in the middle of a moving lane, unless, of course, it’s at a red or during a turn or a pedestrian crosswalk requiring you to legally stop. Moving with the flow that’s moving in your lane is the way to avoid this unnecessary stopping error. Green move as green and act like you are on the green. Stopping for no reason is not appropriate.
Pretend your Car has a Long Long Nose
Now that you have planned a bigger strategy to avoid rush hours, or classical music, plus paying attention more to the dance of the cars, or the flow and moving with everyone. Next, think about adding more space in front of your car as if your car had a long long nose. Carrying this extra space while still keeping up with the flow gives you more vision and more reaction space to any movements you may need to take.
Long Long Nose is a great simple extra to help you drive stress-free. Try it. You may be surprised.
