Distances are important for a driver’s test. Very important.

How far away from a stop line should you stop?

The solid white line is where you stop.

Before the white line with no part of your car over the white line.

Stop within 3 metres of the white line is preferred.

Maximum 6 meters from the white line is the maximum.
