Fast-moving no insurance vulnerable people HERE TODAY

The explosion of two wheels one wheel three wheels with motors, or electric power or who knows what has exploded as the world expects everyone to have free or cheap transportation no matter the cost!

CHECK OUT THE VANCOUVER CITY WEBSITE here.

And yes the cost may be low which is the most common expression I hear from anyone I talk to who is on a scooter or a unicycle thingy. The first and most common response to me asking why they ride it is, “I don’t have money I am poor and I need it to get around.”

Peel your eyes! You thought bike lanes and odd pedestrians on the roads were a challenge! Now it’s fast-moving pedestrians on wheels! Yes the moment they step off the questionable legal vehicle, they instantly become a pedestrian. EKK!

Many questions explode inside my brain whenever I see one whiz past me. Do they have a license? Are they trained at all? Do they have a driver’s license? Do they know the road rules? What about insurance? Do they have insurance? If I crash into them is it all my insurance that pays even when they are the ones breaking the laws? What the heck is going on here?

I have been reading about this for years now, as I have with EV laws and rules and my conclusion is this. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE ON YOUR CAR!

It goes 80 MPH and certain populations think that’s cool! Are you kidding me? Yea, vulnerable road users are a concern so let’s make them faster! OMG!

The world has changed and yes it is even hitting the roads and our driving environment!
