girl with face mask and fingers showing an x - no mask

Recently clients going for their driving tests, road test, ICBC’s driver’s licenses, both class 5 and class 7 have not needed to wear a mask for the test drive. It looks like the requirement has been dropped and is not voluntary.

Masks and physical distancing are voluntary when visiting an ICBC location.

Sadly I cannot find the specific reference to say this in reference to road tests but two of my recent clients that passed this week did not need a mask for the driving test. :):)

I found this reference stating you need a mask on the ICBC website but I think it’s out of date… “but masks are required for road tests.”

Good news for your next driving lesson 🙂
