yellow traffic light

may cause it to enter the intersection and proceed only with caution

Often drivers rush when driving near yellow lights when caution should prevail. I know this because many beginner drivers rush as soon as they get near a yellow. They are simply copying behaviours they have seen as a passenger.

  • Yellow is caution.
  • Be on the alert.
  • Slow down and use your vision to hunt for conflicts or unusual situations.

The YELLOW is a WARNING of potential danger!

See yellow, Think Yellow and Respond Accordingly!
