cooper backs in against the signs OPPS!

WHY Back in parking is often the best habit?

  • car breaks down – your front end engine battery easier to access from the front
  • parking in reverse – as you enter the parking lot – you can see everything and you are wide awake and aware – smart time to reverse. Full 360 vision as you enter the area.
  • reversing out with the TERRIBLE rear vision just as you START to drive when you are not really awake yet – starting with that super rear end bad vision is silly planning – If you do TOOT TOOT please!
  • Existing to start a drive looking out the slopping front of your car gives you MAXIMUM vision – Good Habit
  • either way, do you walk 360 around your car before you enter – ALWAYS – good habit! Get your brain in gear!

WHY back in parking is a GOOD THING!

  • sometimes the rear end pumps your exhaust fumes into the building
  • some buildings have windows or intake vents right there at the back of the parking spots
  • Hence they suggest DO NOT BACK IN
  • In this blog post its because of the overhang cement structure which will smash your back windows in if you are not careful
  • I am sure the parking authority paid for many broken rear windows – before they put up the big signs
  • DO NOT BACK IN! hahahaha

P.S. yes there was a Mercedes that also backed in if you look closely. Ha ha.
