IDP International Driver’s License, is a translation of your current driver’s license into multiple languages. It must be accompanied by your valid driver’s license, similar to a passport, but cheaper and easy to be destoryed if you get wet. In Canada, the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) issues IDPs for $25 to those over 18. However, beware of fraudulent businesses selling supposed international licenses without verification. The IDP is valid for one year outside of Canada, but learners or novice drivers should verify its acceptance in their intended countries of travel due to potential restrictions.
Learn to Drive anywhere in the world! $30 REALLY!
But what about the rules?
Are the rules different?
Like Thailand – they drive on the other side of the road!!!!
How do I learn to drive there? The car rental company just gave me the keys with no questions!
Plus they insured on of our party members who was 20 years only licensed only 1 year, for free!
Is this a setup to create more income for a company or a country?
The unknown can be scary.
