From Federal Research to Your Front Seat: Why Your Driving Journey Starts Here
Think a driving lesson is just about learning to park? Think again.
I’ve spent a lifetime obsessing over a single question: What actually makes a “good” driver? That quest for the answer has taken me around the globe and into the highest levels of road safety research. My journey isn’t your average instructor’s story—and that’s exactly why my students have a distinct advantage.
A Career Built on Expertise
Before I was sitting next to you in the passenger seat, I was:
Consulting in China and working with the Federal Government on the cutting edge of road safety. Working alongside leading researchers to study the impact of cell phone use and distracted driving. Managing safety for massive fleets, from city vehicles to heavy-duty trucks. Teaching the intensive 30-hour Ministry-approved programs in Ontario for over 13 years.
Today, I bring that world-class experience to British Columbia, where I am fully certified to teach the GLP (Graduated Licensing Program).
The Truth About Learning to Drive
Many schools promise you’ll be an expert in a weekend. I’ll give it to you straight: Truly mastering the art of driving takes 3 to 10 years of focused practice. It’s a craft. It’s a responsibility. It’s a life-saving skill.
While my company is currently focused on high-impact in-car sessions rather than classroom courses (ask me why next time we chat!), every hour you spend in the car with me is backed by decades of data and thousands of hours of teaching.
Why Train With Me?
When you book a lesson, you aren’t just getting someone to watch your mirrors. You are getting:
A Global Perspective: Insights from international and federal-level safety research.
Serious Solutions: A real-world understanding of what it takes to survive and thrive on today’s busy roads.
Absolute Dedication: I love what I do, and I am deeply serious about your success.
If you want more than just a license—if you want a deep, professional overview of how to really handle a vehicle—come see me. Let’s build a foundation that will keep you safe for the next 50 years, not just the next 50 miles.
