Calm Driving

Driving safely is about much more than watching the car in front of you. At Cooper’s Vancouver Driving School, I teach students to scan 20, 30, even 40 car lengths ahead, developing the awareness needed to anticipate issues before they arise. This skill, which I call “purple positioning,” allows drivers to feel more in control and avoid sudden stops or dangerous situations.

One student shared, “By learning to look farther ahead, I feel like I have a sixth sense on the road. I can spot congestion long before it affects me.” This proactive approach is key to becoming a calm, confident driver in busy Vancouver traffic.

Searching for “driving lessons in Vancouver” that teach long-distance awareness? Join us at Cooper’s Driving School for an approach that keeps you safe by always looking ahead.
